Next Gen Membership

FREE

Any person studying for a recognised building and construction industry qualification.

Graduate GradNZIOB

$65.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Graduated from a recognised building and construction industry qualification.

(b) Is involved in the building and construction industry.

Associate ANZIOB

$370.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Is involved in the building and construction industry.

(b) Has an interest in belonging to the NZIOB and commits to upholding the Constitution and Bylaws.

Affiliate AffilNZIOB

$470.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Has a degree other than those recognised for Full Member status and a minimum of ten years’ full-time equivalent experience in the building and construction industry.

(b) Has an interest in belonging to the NZIOB and commits to upholding the Constitution and Bylaws.

Member MNZIOB

$470.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Has a recognised degree related to the building, construction and property sector and a minimum of five years’ full-time equivalent experience.

(b) Is currently engaged in the building and construction industry and has at least seven years’ experience in:

(i) A senior role within a consultancy practice.

(ii) A construction company.

(iii) A responsible position in a partnership or company trading as builders.

Two referees must support an application for membership.

Fellow FNZIOB

$470.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Holds a position of significant eminence, distinction or authority in the building and construction industry.

(b) Contributes to the development of the building and construction industry.

(c) Has been a full Member of NZIOB for at least five years.

(d) Has more than twenty years’ full-time equivalent experience, including at least ten years in recognised senior positions.

Admission to Fellow is by invitation of the Board only.

Chartered Building Professional

$115.00 (GST inclusive) per year

This fee is in addition to your Member or Fellow subscription.

(a) Maintains 45 Continuing Professional Development credits over a three-year period.

(b) Completes the relevant application form: Download application.

(c) Is ratified by the Board.

Retired Member

$65.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Was previously a Member of the relevant grade.

(b) Has retired from the building and construction industry and applied for transfer to a retired grade.

Overseas Member

$260.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Has a principal place of residence outside New Zealand.

(b) Wishes to retain their current membership grade.

(c) Has paid the applicable Overseas Membership fee.

Connect Member

$340.00 (GST inclusive) per year

(a) Is involved in the building and construction industry.

(b) Has an interest in belonging to the NZIOB and commits to upholding the Constitution and Bylaws.
